Bathroom storage has three rules: the daily routine within arm’s reach, reserves in one limited place, and nothing moisture-sensitive kept in the wettest room of the house. Remove what is empty or expired, group by routine — teeth, shower, hair, skin — and clear the basin of everything not used every day.
Small bathroom storage ideas
Use the height: a shelf above the toilet or the door, a mirrored cabinet, wall hooks for towels. One wipe-clean caddy per person or per routine instead of deep baskets that hide leaks and expiry dates. Under the basin, a leak tray, pull-out caddies and cleaning products out of children’s reach. A laundry basket belongs in the bathroom only if it is ventilated; otherwise it goes in the bedroom or utility room.
Medicines and reserves
Follow the packaging and pharmacy advice: many bathrooms are too warm and humid for medicines. Reserves of shampoo, paper and toothpaste have a written limit and are opened only when the product in use runs out.
The guides below cover each part: bathroom storage ideas, under sink storage, drawer organisers and storage boxes.
