What an affiliate link is
It is a link to the shop that sells a product. If you buy through it, that shop pays Um Fardo de Tralha a small commission. The price you pay is exactly the same, with or without the link.
How we choose what appears
A recommendation always starts from the problem on the page, never from the commission. We pick what solves the problem described in the guide and say who it suits. A higher commission does not move a product up the list, and we do not write guides around products.
What we do not do
We are not paid to speak well of a product, we do not publish sponsored articles without labelling them, and we do not recommend anything that does not fit the situation on the page. We do not sell, ship or support any product: the purchase, the warranty and the return are handled by the shop.
How we label it
Whenever a page carries affiliate links, the disclosure appears before the links, on the page itself. We do not hide the commercial nature in the footer or in small print.
